Women-led photography education
Learn with Dani Watson, award-winning photographer and educator.
CapturEDU is a women-led photography school. Founder Dani Watson teaches most workshops, lessons and mentoring programs herself, with guest photographers joining selected sessions. She holds a Master of Arts in Photography from RMIT, is a member of the AIPP and RPS, and is a Hasselblad Masters finalist.
Meet Dani Watson
Dani founded CapturEDU and teaches most of its workshops, lessons and mentoring programs herself. She is an Australian landscape and aerial photographer, and still shoots, prints and exhibits every week.
Dani has more than 50 hours of flight time photographing Kati Thanda–Lake Eyre and directs IRID Gallery, a fine art photography gallery representing contemporary Australian photographers. Guest photographers join selected workshops. Every session is taught the way Dani learned: on location, in real light, with honest feedback.
