After introductions and ensuring everyone has their camera gear ready, we set off on our photographic adventure.
Phillip Island offers an abundance of stunning locations, from rugged coastlines and serene beaches to iconic wildlife and historic landmarks. Our guides have an exhaustive list of potential spots, and the selection for each day is thoughtfully planned based on the conditions to ensure the best possible photographic outcomes. Whether it's capturing the dynamic action of surfers at Woolamai Beach, the peaceful sunset at the Nobbies, or intimate moments of penguin arrivals at dusk, each location presents unique challenges and opportunities for learning.
Throughout the day, our instructors' expertise guides us, sharing insights into capturing the essence of Phillip Island's diverse scenery. From the soft morning light illuminating the island's landscapes to the dramatic afternoon skies, participants learn to adapt and capture the moment.
As we approach midday, we take a break for lunch at one of the local eateries, where participants can enjoy the island's cuisine and perhaps even sample some locally produced food. After lunch, the afternoon session is designed to take advantage of the island's beautiful light, with another location chosen to maximise this advantage for capturing stunning landscapes and seascapes. As the day transitions towards evening, we head to our final location, selected for its spectacular sunset views.
